Installing eSIM on Android Devices

Before you begin installation, ensure your device is compatible and you have existing stable connection (preferably WiFi). Avoid using airport WiFi as they may block eSIM installations.

One-click eSIM Installation on Android devices (for Android 10 and newer only)

1. Use your Android device to open the link and initiate installation.
2. Start setup and follow setup instructions.
3. Custom label your eSIM (Name to Identify this eSIM).
4. Set Mobile Data as newly installed “eSIM”.
5. Update Access Point Names(APN), (if required).
6. Installation is complete!
7. Upon landing > Mobile Data > Turn on your eSIM > Turn on Data Roaming
8. Select eSIM to use eSIM for Data.

QR Code eSIM Installation on Android devices

1. Go to “Settings” > “Connection/Network & Internet”
2. Tap “SIM Card Manager” > “eSIM” > “Add Mobile Plan”
3. Scan QR code or Tap “Enter Details Manually”
4. Custom label your eSIM (Name to Identify this eSIM)
5. Update Access Point Name (APN), (if required)
6. Installation is complete!
7. Upon landing > Turn on (eSIM) > “Mobile Data” select eSIM > Turn on Data Roaming
8. Select eSIM to use eSIM for Data.

Manual eSIM Installation on Android devices

1. Go to “Settings” > “Connection/Network & Internet”
2. Tap the “+” icon next to Mobile Network
3. Tap Next when asked, “Don’t have a SIM card?”
4. Tap “Enter Code Manually”. You will be asked to enter the QR code information (SM-DP+Address) provided in “Installation Email”
5. Custom label your eSIM (Name to Identify this eSIM)
6. Update Access Point Name (APN), (if required)
7. Installation is complete!
8. Upon landing > Turn on (eSIM) > “Mobile Data” select eSIM > Turn on Data Roaming
9. Select eSIM to use eSIM for Data.

Installing eSIM on Pixel Devices

3. Tap “Settings/Done” when you see the Download Finished screen
4. Custom label your eSIM (Name to Identify this eSIM)
5. Update Access Point Name (APN) is required
6. Installation is complete!

QR Code eSIM Installation on Pixel devices

1. Go to “Settings” > “Network & internet”
2. Tap “(+)” next to the SIMs/Mobile network section, if it’s not available tap “SIMs/Mobile network” on your device
3. Tap “Download a SIM instead?”, then tap “Next”
4. Tap “Use a different network” if you need to confirm your network
5. Scan the QR code, then tap “Download/Activate”
6. Tap “Settings/Done” when you see the Download Finished screen
7. Custom label your eSIM (Name to Identify this eSIM)
8. Update Access Point Name (APN) is required
9. Installation is complete!

Using data on Pixel devices

1. Upon Landing > Go to “SIMs”, then select the recently downloaded eSIM on your device.
2. Enable the “Use SIM” toggle, then tap “Yes”.
3. Enable the “Mobile data” toggle.
4. Enable the “Roaming” toggle, then tap “OK”.
5. Tap the “Automatically select network” toggle then choose the supported network available if your eSIM has connected to the wrong network.
6. Tap Access Point Names, then tap “(+)”.
7. Enter the APN provided by copying it into the Name and APN fields.
8. Tap the three dots on the right top of the screen, tap Save, then select the APN you have saved by clicking the radio button.
9. Installation is complete!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• Ensure “Data Roaming” for your Main Line is disabled to prevent accidental charges from your carrier.
• Do NOT DELETE/REMOVE your eSIM from your device after successful installation as each eSIM can only be installed once. In case accidental deletion of your eSIM after installation, contact us via chat or email to hello@frewie.com.
• Data validity starts immediately upon installation of eSIM.
